In case you missed it, 2017 SEMA was late last month at the Las Vegas Convention Center and it was a pretty exciting weekend for car enthusiasts. Hyundai was, of course, in full force at the show and had plenty of displays and announcements. Here are some of Hyundai's highlights at 2017 SEMA.

Rockstar Energy Moab Extreme Off-Roader Santa Fe Sport Concept

Hyundai showed off its tuner concept for the 2017 SEMA show: the Rockstar Energy Moab Extreme Off-roader Santa Fe Sport Concept. Rockstar designed the concept to be able to withstand the ultimate demands of extreme off-roading in Moab, Utah, considered one of the world’s most challenging off-road regions.

“The Rockstar Energy Moab Extreme Concept was specifically designed to withstand the extraordinary demands of Moab off-road terrain,” said Nic Ashby, Rockstar Marketing. “Leveraging the outstanding Santa Fe Sport platform and powertrain, we definitely pushed its capabilities to new limits to conquer the pinnacle of challenges at Moab.”

Vaccar Tucson Sport Concept

Hyundai partnered with Vaccar to develop the Vaccar Tucson Sport concept for the 2017 SEMA show. This eye-catching concept builds upon the affordable, OEM-level performance and style of the Tucson Sport crossover and adds considerable powertrain, design, infotainment, suspension and a full aero kit for impressive looks and performance.

“The Vaccar Tucson Sport Concept takes the Tucson far beyond its OEM roots without sacrificing reliability,” said Aaron Vaccar, President of Vaccar. “By building upon the well-developed Tucson platform, powertrain and design, we’ve given enthusiasts a vision of just where this affordable crossover aspires to go.”
